Pyrography with a difference I have always sketched and painted, both in oils and watercolours, but I really fell in love with pyrography when I first saw it on a visit to Wales about fourteen years ago. However, it was only after we moved to Wales that I began to do it seriously and developed my particular style. I work from my own photographs of the beautiful Welsh landscape and its industrial heritage. I love working with wood, and use only locally grown timber, mainly sycamore.
